The Wicklow Way
The Wicklow Way

The Wicklow Way Walking Trail

The Wicklow Way was originally planned by JB Malone in 1981 who was an avid hillwalker and wanted to share this walking treasure easily accessibile from the city of Dublin.

Promoting a healthy lifestyle and a love of nature JB Malone documented the many walking paths and trails that he undertook resulting in a walking trail that spans 128km.

The Wicklow way Walking Trail begins at Marlay Park in Dublin and ends in Clonegal, Carlow passing through such wonderful countryside locations as Powerscourt, Lough tay Roundwood, Glendalough, Glenmalure, Shillelagh and Tinahely to name a few.
