Visiting Laragh:

wicklow photos from chris bolton -living life the wicklow wayLaragh is well known to Dubliners as a pleasant location for a Sunday spin. The popular Lynhams of Laragh is often crowded with day trippers enjoying cool pints in the summer sun!

A bustling village throughout the year, laragh is en route to the famous Glendalough and thus is host to tourists, cyclist, motorcyclists, hill walkers etc from within Ireland and abroad.

It is a beautifully scenic area with the Glenmacnass river running through the village and the Avonmore river nearby to the south toward Rathdrum.

About 5kms from the village is every adventurous childs fantasy day out with the Clara Lara Fun Park - 100 acres of fun located here. I have had so much fun here and emerged a muckier, wetter, more tired but happier dog! See their website for details: www.claralara.com

There is a Local Organic Farmers Market in the nearby Brockagh Resource Centre which runs every second Sunday in the month.

The popular Wicklow Heather Restaurant is a charmingwicklow photos from chris bolton -living life the wicklow way and recommended eating destination so much so that you really ought to book ahead if you plan lunch/ dinner here. You can tel them on + 353 404 45157

The well known pub Lynhams also provides hotel accommodation in tastefully decorated rooms.
